Good News…Abellon has bagged “IGBC Platinum” pre-certification with “Global Leadership” recognition for our Goodwatts WTE Rajkot campus. We have received the pre-certification based on the design parameters and innovative approaches adopted at our campus.
This is our third campus, after Jamnagar and Ahmedabad, to receive IGBC Platinum pre-certification.
We have designed the Rajkot WTE plant as a no-human-interface plant. At this plant, we will process 850 tons of MSW, and reduce GHG emissions of 1474.38 MTCO2eq per day by replacing fossil fuels such as coal and stopping waste from going to landfill.
At Abellon, we believe that Waste to energy is a sustainable waste management practice through which we can contribute to the “Swachh Bharat Mission” and also help our nation address climate change issues.
